Each hand-painted dish measures 7.25" (18 cm) in diameter and sits 1.125" (3 cm) off-table at the edge.

Very much like majolica pottery, the paint is vivid, bright with clear glazing showing no crazing. There are no chips, fractures, or repairs on any of the 4 plates. There is no incising or maker's mark on the back of any of the four.
