Antique 1925 Paris Fashions Pochoir Print Featuring Renaissance Dress Styles and Couture

A stunning French pochoir print from Paul Louis de Giafferri's 1925 magnificent folio work ~ 'History of Feminine Costume from 1037 - 1870'.

Hand-painted on card, these prints are simply scrumptious. This plate features 8 vignettes of 'Elegantes', or 'Evening Gowns', from the Renaissance era, 1461-1574 (Pl 1).

The paper measures 10.75" x 14.625" (27x37 cm), with a very gentle edge tanning. There are no tears, folds, creases, or marks.

The colors are bright and lush and the explanation key is at the page bottom in French text. A wonderful paper to frame. ... or will you use this in your art?
