Antique 1897 Victorian Edward Lloyd Natural History Hand Colored Engraving

A stunning portrait of a Striped Hawk Moth and its caterpillar are featured on an Victorian engraving gleaned from Edward Lloyd's 1897 natural history reference.

The heavy paper is blank on its reverse, measures 4.75" x 7.125 (12x18 cm), and shows little tanning since the protective tissue cover remains attached. The paper is clean and without creases, folds, marks, or tears.

The engraving is bold and strong, the colors are color rich, vivid, and bright. This will be a gorgeous engraving to frame and gift to the collector you love.
