Product Description
From a 1914 folio edition of 'New York Illustrated', just look at these fantastic and so wonderfully historic rotogravures! Printed on a heavy, natural bisque paper and with a gorgeous printer's framing, the featured photographs are -

- Lower New York and Bay (looking south from Woolworth Building into the mass of Skyscrapers accumulated at the lower end of Manhattan Island.

- Whitehall Building (facing Batter Park) and West Street Building (on West Street, between Albany and Cedar Streets).

The detailing is stunning - the Statue of Liberty seen in the distance is a mere kid at 28 years old!

The crisply focused rotogravures were all taken from dirigibles (think: Goodyear Blimp) and are a perfect snapshot time machine, giving the viewer a fantastic glimpse into the fashions and architecture of New York City, New York, USA ... a century ago.

The 2-sided paper measures 10" x 12" (25x31 cm) and the larger rotogravure measures 7" x 9" (18x23 cm) - absolutely perfect for framing! There are no tears, folds, creases, or marks.

You are purchasing an original 1914 paper and it does not have watermarks. I will send this to you flat, protected, and by USPS 1st Class mail.
