This is an 30x45 inch abstract art photo that looks much like a painting. The photo was taken in the spring in Paris 2010. This abstract is infused into metal in an elegant, gallery quality presentation that is ready to hang. Shipping is on me within the United States. Flush Mount Metal Frame (colors: Black or Silver) - Flush means the frame is flush against the wall and does not hover away from wall. This frame has a very thin border (Black option has top thin line of white and sides are black and Sliver option has thin line of white and sides are sliver) and includes wire ready to hang backing.
Inset Metal Frame (colors: Black or Silver). Inset frames means the backing gives the appearance of floating away from the wall (1 1/2" from wall). No border, sharp corners, includes wire ready to hang backing.

ARCHIVAL QUALITY: Images printed with the MetalPrints process will last for generations when displayed indoors and out of direct sunlight. Like any fine art print, MetalPrints should not be exposed to direct sunlight or high outdoor temperatures. MetalPrints have an additional benefit over gicleé or photographic processes in that they are waterproof and have an ultra-hard scratch resistant coating. The archival value of a print should be judged not only by its resistance to degradation by U.V. light and ozone exposure, but also to moisture and surface damage. When these factors are brought into the equation, MetalPrints are an excellent way to preserve an image.

My work is a kind of snapshot performance, a dance with light that strives to bring the observer into a portal unknown and yet vastly familiar. As a former professional dancer I relentlessly trained to infuse every movement with the sacred by moving from within. Now, as a result of disabling chronic pain, the dance had to stop but the movement continues with the camera in a distilled form. Like a child at play, whirling with the camera eliminates me the "artist" in a fusion of subject and object. Most of the artistic decisions are implemented in post-processing and printing. I am striving for unique color, light forms, geometry, texture and movement. If I am succeeding, the viewer will feel a shift in consciousness and an elevated perception. The images will also feel uncannily familiar as if they are reflections of ourselves. So in the end, the world becomes my palette and by letting go of my story and the element of time, I attempt to capture the essence of reality.
