Summer is a wonderful and colorful time - after the long winter everything in the garden grows at a rapid rate and at midsummer everything is in full bloom. It is the time for all shades pink and red; peonies, roses, fushias and ripening strawberries.

Midsummer is a feast day in Sweden, a day to appreciate natures glory and to party all night under the midnight sun.

The style of this bracelet is traditional and has a timeless quality which will never go out of fashion.

Pewter wire is carefully braided and sewn onto lamn nappa leather band. The fastening is a lovely little button made from pewter and 4% silver.

Silver (4%) is added to the pewter wire to prevent the metal losing its fine patina.

The leather is dyed using a process without chrome which makes the product nickel free.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
Here you will find leather jewelry decorated with pewter wire. This is a traditional craft developed by the Sami people who inhabit North Sweden,Norway,Finland and the Kola Penninsula in Russia.

This jewelry is a product of and inspired by the landscape and nature of Sweden where I live.
