Cute and colorful russian nesting doll (Matryoshka/Babushka) pendant necklace. Very cute and original design by Popnicute. Only one available. You will receive the necklace in the picture :)

This is a Collector's item and is numbered. This is #1. The number is stamped on the back side of the bail.

This nesting doll necklace has a unique mix of materials. The red sleeping doll is an artisan lampwork bead handmade by Sally Sutherland, I nested it inside a real (dyed) blue silk cocoon that has been coated with 3-4 layers of polymer clay for durability. Then I added polymer clay details on it, soft Teal flowers, red and gold fringes. The hat is made of copper, stamped with POPNICUTE mark with added gold fringe and a soft teal flower on top. Ceramic beads in red and teal hold the pendant with durable brown long leather cords. Tie to fit.

Neck cord extends at 43cm (17 inch) on each side.

All surface of polymer clay on this nesting doll has been coated with glaze for shine and protection.

This nesting doll pendant was made in layers and baked multiple times to achieve optimum result.


Please treat it as a delicate piece of art. Do not wear on extreme condition. Always take off before shower and sports.

The doll is about 45mm (1 7/8 inch) long. With bail it falls about 60mm (2 3/8 in).

It's my artistic interpretation of American Indian child cradle crossed with Matryoshka (Russian nesting doll).
