When I took this picture in Invermere, British Columbia, in 2006, I knew it was a member of the daisy family. It took me a couple of years to discover it was rudbeckia. The flowers were growing in giant concrete planters on Invermere's main street. I love the civic pride of that little town!

5x7" photo print is by me, Christine Bennett. Printed at a film lab on glossy Fuji Crystal Archive paper. Like all photos and artwork, it should be kept out of direct sunlight.
