This Paired set of "His & Hers" boxes are two variations of a quilt block called Bird of Paradise. The set uses Mottled Imbuya, the greenish wood, Sapele Pommele, the red, and burl Oak, the lightest.

The dark "His" box sports the Oak burl all over and the light "Hers" box is covered with the Imbuya, and is adorned with a brass ball handle, dividers and chain stop.

These boxes are 6" square and 3 1/4" high. White birch and black velvet inside, black felt on the bottom.
