Lap Quilt SERENE ELEGANCE received its name after the Serenity Fabric Collection by EE Schenk. Aptly named, it has smokey shades of grey, blue, rose, tan, with the most dainty little flowers, branches, ferns, on gorgeous linen like cottons, serene and elegant. Big blocks, 9.5" square are offset in rows and showcase the beautiful subtle designs of the fabric.

This Quilt features one of my favourite machine quilting patterns called "Baroque Hearts" , executed in a light khaki coloured thread on top and chocolate brown in the bobbin. The backing is a one piece caramel coloured tone on tone from the Flourish collection by Henry Glass.

I attached the binding by machine, it is double fold, mitred at the corners and topstitched with a decorative stitch so I know it will never come undone.

Elegant, sophisticated, comfortable, made to be used for years to come.

Machine wash and dry like all your fine items.
