I am in love with this little number, it turned out just beautiful! Made with a collection of fabrics from the Fig and Plum line, designed by Joanna Figueroa for Moda, it features soft blue and green, gentle shades of mango and vanilla, some allspice, periwinkle, just to name a few. Gentle blossoms sway in the breeze interrupted by delicate dots and fine geometric. I used a creme coloured marble cotton from the Nancy Crow collection called "Crush" to set it all off and then machine quilted it with feathers in the sashing and a loose meander in the printed blocks.

This is a lightweight and thin Coverlet Quilt. The batting used is a Tuscany 100% Polyester by Hobbs, beautiful, soft, lightweight and fibers will never migrate. The backing is an abstract rose design in soft pink by Henry Glass and I used a creme cotton thread on top and pink in the bobbin.

The binding is double fold, mitred at the corners and machine stitched.

This old fashion Charmer is easy care, machine wash and dry.

The Quilt measures 69" x 83", not quite long enough to be twin bed Quilt, but a beautiful coverlet for a double or even queen. Whatever you decide to use it for, it will be a conversation piece and a delight to look at.
