Spring can be unpredictable, weather wise. This little quilt reminds me of crazy spring weather because of the scrappy use of fabrics in the anvil blocks. Little patches of bright green mixed with olive and tan give the mixed up weather feel.

The spring flowers that I hand appliquéd are peach and pink and appear to be basking in the sun and alternately shivering in the wind.

The quilt measures 17 inches square. It was designed and stitched by me in my petless sewing room. I used 100% cotton fabrics and cotton batting, thread and backing. The quilt was machine quilted and the binding was hand stitched to the back.

I have attached hanging sleeves on the back (not showing) that help with hanging the quilt. It would also be nice used as table decor.

I love decorating with little quilts.
