Reproduction fabric and an appliquéd blue tulip make this a sweet little decorator pillow. A favorite color combination of blue and yellow on a white background welcomes in the spring and summer season.

I made a Dresden Plate block and appliquéd it on a white cotton background. Then, I appliquéd a blue tulip in the center of the Dresden Plate. I then machine quilted around the plate and the tulip. A pretty blue and yellow tulip print made a perfect border and the thin bright piping all around the edge gives a nice finishing touch.

The back repeats the border fabric. The overlap for the pillow form insertion is near the bottom half.

You will need to purchase a 14 inch pillow form for this pillow cover.
