Vintage Gorham Silver Plate Serving Tray from the Spanish Collection is a unique silver plated tray with a black Mediterranean center design. There is still a Gorham label on the bottom!

This Vintage tray is nice & sturdy and in excellent condition. The black center design of octagons, petals and Maltese crosses reflect the interest in Mediterranean design during the 1970's.

The Spanish collection Silver plate tray was part of a collection introduced in 1970, but would look stunning in your RetroVintage home, perfect for serving drinks.

The tray is approximately 12" diameter and a generous 1.5" deep. The label is worn but under magnification it reads:

This was part of a collection from Gorham. I have only found one other item (a trivet) from this line but it had a red center instead. They also introduced their Spanish Tracery silverware in 1970 that had a very similar pattern with black accents, which may have been part of the Spanish Collection too. Does any one else remember the Mediterranean design trends of the 1970's? What goes around comes around as they say!
