Hand painted baby bottle gourd as kokeshi doll. Maiko (apprentice geisha) with teal kimono with purple flowers and orange/yellow obi stands approx. 5 inches tall. The sleeves are dried wallnut casings left to dry for one year prior to use. To get your Kokeshi doll to stand, give her a shake to settle the seeds in her tummy.
Painted with acrylic paints
sealed three+ times with non-yellowing varnish.
