Turquoise and White Fused Glass Millefiori Earrings

Product Description

These Fused Glass Earrings feature a white base topped with a turquoise and yellow millefiori slice. Millefiori means "a thousand flowers" in Italian so these are especially appropriate for spring and make a great gift substitute for live flowers.

The glass portion is approximately 7/16" x 9/16" and they hang approximately 1 1/8".

They are made from sterling silver ear wires.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

All of my items are handmade in my Roswell, GA studio.

These earrings were created by combining multiple pieces of fusible glass and then heating them in a kiln to over 1450 degrees. This "fuses" them into a single piece. The earrings were then shaped on a grinder and were put in the kiln for a second firing to polish the edges.
