Fused Glass Earrings - Turquoise, Black and White Stripe

Product Description

Stripes of turquoise blue, black and white glass were used to create these fused glass earrings. These popular colors are a perfect accent to any black or turquoise outfit and are very light weight and comfortable to wear.

The glass portion of these earrings is approximately 3/8" x 1/2" and they dangle approximately 1 1/4". They are made with sterling silver ear wires.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

These earrings were created by precisely cutting and assembling multiple pieces of fusible glass. The glass is then fired in a kiln to approximately 1500 degrees to "fuse" the pieces together. Next, a diamond bit grinder is used to shape the edges and it goes back into the kiln for a final "fire polishing". Finally, a specialty two part adhesive is used to securely attach the glass to the earring back.

All of my items are handmade in my Roswell, GA, USA studio.
