Dichroic glass in a diamond pattern of purple, pink and gold on a black base was used to create these fused glass earrings. Dichroic glass appears to have multiple colors especially when viewed from different angles and it has a beautiful sparkle that make it perfect for jewelry.

The glass portion of these earrings is approximately 1/2" x 13/16" and they dangle approximately 1" from a sterling silver post.

These earrings were created by precisely cutting and assembling multiple pieces of fusible glass. The glass is then fired in a kiln to approximately 1500 degrees to "fuse" the pieces together. Next, a diamond bit grinder is used to shape the edges and it goes back into the kiln for a final "fire polishing". Finally, a specialty two part adhesive is used to securely attach the glass to the earring back.
