Black and White Rectangle Fused Glass Post Earrings

Product Description

These fused glass earrings are so versatile and perfect for everyday wear - featuring a simple design of opaque black topped with a white rectangle.

The glass portion of these earrings is approximately 3/8" x 9/16" and they dangle approximately 15/16". They are attached to sterling silver posts.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

These earrings were created by precisely cutting and assembling multiple pieces of fusible glass. The glass is then fired in a kiln to approximately 1500 degrees to "fuse" the pieces together. Next, a diamond bit grinder is used to shape the edges and it goes back into the kiln for a final "fire polishing". Finally, a specialty two part adhesive is used to securely attach the glass to the earring back.

All of my items are handmade in my Resetar Glass Art Studio in Roswell, GA, USA.
