Transparent emerald green glass has been fused over a layer of pink dichroic glass. The dichroic layer gives a faint shimmer of pink as they dangle from your ears.

The glass portion of these earrings measures approximately 3/8" x 1/2". They dangle approximately 1" from sterling silver ear wires that are adorned with a coordinating emerald green glass bead.

These earrings were created by precisely cutting and assembling multiple pieces of fusible glass. The glass is then fired in a kiln to approximately 1500 degrees to "fuse" the pieces together. Next, a diamond bit grinder is used to shape the edges and it goes back into the kiln for a final "fire polishing". Finally, a specialty two part adhesive is used to securely attach the glass to the earring back.
