Four layers of glass were fused together to create this stunning pendant. It starts with a base layer of transparent royal blue. Two layers of dichroic glass are next - a triangle of fuchsia pink glass and a glass with threads of silver. Finally, it is topped with a layer of clear glass to bring out the sparkle and depth of the layers.

The glass pendant measures approximately 7/8" x 1 3/8". It includes a 16" flocked velvet necklace that has a 2" extender chain, silver plated cord ends and lobster clasp. The silver plated pendant bail has a large opening that will work with most sterling silver necklaces if you'd like to use your own necklace for a dressier look.

This pendant was created by precisely cutting and assembling multiple pieces of fusible glass. The glass is then fired in a kiln to approximately 1500 degrees to "fuse" the pieces together. Next, a diamond bit grinder is used to shape the edges and it goes back into the kiln for a final "fire polishing". Finally, a specialty two part adhesive is used to securely attach the glass to the pendant bail.
