A square fused glass bowl featuring rectangles of transparent and opaque glass in many shades of greens and blues.

It measures approximately 9 inches square (23 cm) and is 2.5 inches (6.5 cm) at its deepest point.

First I precisely cut and assemble pieces of glass to make my design. Next I fire the glass in a kiln to approximately 1500 degrees to fuse the glass into a single piece. I then use a diamond disc grinder to shape the edges and fire the piece again to polish the ground edges. My last step is a final firing where the glass is draped over a mold to give it the final shape.

All of my items are handmade in America in my Roswell, GA studio.
