A rainbow of colors - purple, blue, green, pink, orange and gold on a black base. This stunning fused glass pendant will certainly get lots of attention due to the beauty of the dichroic glass.

This rectangle pendant measures approximately 1 3/16 x 1/2 inches (1.3 x 3 cm). And it comes with an 18 inch (45 cm) black waxed cotton necklace with silver plated cord ends and spring ring clasp.

This fused glass pendant was made by cutting and assembling multiple layers of fusible glass and then firing them in a kiln to approximately 1500 degrees. This "fuses" the individual pieces into a single piece of glass. A diamond bit grinder is then used to smooth and shape the edges and the piece is place back into the kiln to "fire polish" the edges. Finally, a specialty two part glue is used to securely attached the glass to the pendant bail.
