Product Description
BRAND NEW CLAY WORK FROM ME! December 2011, hot from my kiln!

OK I let it cool off! This piece was made from porcelain clay. I rolled out a slab of clay and then rolled a lace doily onto it to add this pattern. I cut out a circle of the clay and formed the piecrust edges. The piece was then bisque fired to make the first transition from clay to ceramic. Next I put a turquoise glaze on the piece to provide a non-porous surface for food usage. This glaze pools in the recesses of the pattern. Then I fired the piece to maturity at cone 6. Absolutely One Of A Kind!

It is suspended from jewelry wire and finished with a copper clasp. You can either hang it from a hook ( not included) or simply wrap the wire around a branch or other object and clip the copper clasp around the wires as shown. About 6" in diameter.

Fill with treats or water for your feathered neighbors. Wash with soap now and then to keep it clean. Don't leave out to freeze in winter with water in it.

My bluebird family loves these! I hang one next to their nest box, and I put out a tablespoon or so of dried meal worms every day.

Includes US shipping. I will ship to many other countries - please ask for a quote prior to purchase. Thanks!
