Product Description
A marvelous example of the Navajo silversmith's talent. This heavy sterling silver concho belt is 37 inches long and weighs 147 grams. It has 12 conchos each measuring 2" x 1 5/8". It fastens with a hand-tooled hook which clasps into any of the sterling silver loops separating the conchos. It will fit any waist up to 37" and for the smaller waist the remaining conchos hang as a decorative element to the side.
This is a vintage piece. It tests sterling silver and has no stampings of any kind, which is common with older Native American silverwork.
The stamped design is exceptionally fine.
