This opal comes from the famous Lightening Ridge opal fields in Australia. It is primarily a crystal opal with a clear body tone allowing all the color planes to show through. It weighs 4.5 cts and measures 15 x 12 x 3 mm. The asking price is a modest $250 per carat.
