Pia was told to carry a cane while she walked; just until her knees got better. She didn't like this idea at all; she'd get too many pitying looks from her friends and family. She believed carrying a ski pole would be much better so she set out and bought one (yes, just one) and designed an outfit to go with it. She even included the skis on her back. (Just for fashion sake; she had no idea how to actually ski!) After adding the high-heeled fashion boots to her outfit off she went!

Pia is about 10 inches tall (11.5 inches counting the skis on her back) She is made out of Norwegian C1 batting and has a wire armature for gentle posing. Her hair is made from mohair locks. The skis on her back are removable.

Pia was inspired after seeing a woman walking with a ski pole in place of a cane on a NYC bus. Visions of a woman in a sexy snow outfit and skis on her head floated around my mind. I changed the skis being carried on her back after making the ski - It looked a bit TOO wacky as a hat. LOL!
