Not your everyday necklace, to be sure! Just imagine it with your little black dress at New Year's Eve, or better yet--on the neckline of a beautiful bride as she's coming down the aisle...

The necklace is composed of over FOUR THOUSAND chips of polished crystal quartz and over TWO HUNDRED FIFTY freshwater pearls! The center cabochon is 40mm and is a lovely white marble.



The top of the necklace will sit right at your collarbone, but has about a 3 inch extender so you can adjust the length appropriately to the neckline of the dress/blouse you wear it with.



The post earrings are also crystal quartz and freshwater pearls. With a necklace such as this it only makes sense to include them--so I am!



This is a one-of-a-kind work of art. I realize this necklace will not be for just anyone. It is waiting for that one special person to come along and find it. If that person is you, then you will have the piece of a lifetime! I will certainly consider reasonable offers.

It doesn't snow in Central Texas, but every couple of years we will get a severe ice storm that because we aren't used to this kind of weather, will shut things down in the area for a day or two.
We had such an ice storm in January 2007. It was treacherous, but also beautiful, as you can see from the picture I've included. It was this storm that served as the inspiration for this piece, as well as gave it its name--Texas Ice Storm. I worked on it daily for over 3 months!
