Warm and lush, this necklace just makes you feel good when you put it on! Polished nuggets of highly desireable mahogany obsidian are teamed with mahogany obsidian chips interwoven with copper-colored freshwater pearls. The effect is fantastic! This necklace is about 20" long.

Somehow or other I ended up with an over-abundance of gemstone chips. Then there was the incredible display of freshwater pearls I couldn't pass up... So last year (yes, I'm properly ashamed of myself) I sorted out all the gemstone chips and paired them up with matching pearls and the coordinating gemstone beads and put each set into a plastic bag so I'd have everything I needed all in one place. I actually had the intention (delusion?) of working on them while I was out of town for a series of meetings. I wanted to be certain I had what I would need. Yeah, right. I finally took off 5 days at Christmas (take off 5, get an additional 5 "free"--what a deal!) and in the post holiday peace decided I really needed to DO something with my little "project bags" I'd been hauling around for almost a year. So here they are, and I most sincerely hope you will enjoy wearing them. I know I sincerely enjoyed making them!
