Need a little color that doesn't overwhelm? Then here you go! This necklace is about 20" long and is composed of copper colored freshwater pearls that are interwoven with chips of autumn jasper, accented by faceted nuggets of autumn jasper. Warm and cheerful, but not overwhelming! See for yourself.

Somehow or other I ended up with an over-abundance of gemstone chips. Then there was the incredible display of freshwater pearls I couldn't pass up... So last year (yes, I'm properly ashamed of myself) I sorted out all the gemstone chips and paired them up with matching pearls and the coordinating gemstone beads and put each set into a plastic bag so I'd have everything I needed all in one place. I actually had the intention (delusion?) of working on them while I was out of town for a series of meetings. I wanted to be certain I had what I would need. Yeah, right. I finally took off 5 days at Christmas (take off 5, get an additional 5 "free"--what a deal!) and in the post holiday peace decided I really needed to DO something with my little "project bags" I'd been hauling around for almost a year. So here they are, and I most sincerely hope you will enjoy wearing them. I know I sincerely enjoyed making them!
