These are extremely useful for times when you do not want to leave markes on wire. I use these most often to straighten wire that has gotten kinked.
These can also harden wire. If you close the jaw firmly several times on the finished items like ear wires and loops, that process will harden the wire and make it stiffer.
These come with replacement nylon jaws.
