This quilt is made in the Grandmother's flower garden style. It is comprised of all hexagons hand sewn together. The designs on the white hexagons are hand embroidered.

I used glow in the dark thread for the embroidery. After the quilt has been exposed to either sunlight or regular household lights, the quilting stitches will glow in the dark.

The back of the quilt is one piece of black fabric. The binding is black with candy corn scattered all over.

This is a very snuggly and cozy quilt. It can be used as a baby quilt or a lap quilt on the couch while watching movies.

Machine wash and dry

I love Halloween and quilting so I decided to put the two together. I saw online a quilt a-long for a Grandmother's flower garden hexagon style quilt. I have always loved the Grandmother's flower garden design and thought it would be fun to do all in Halloween fabric.
