This is a fine art print of a painting of Redwood Sorrel and Bedstraw, two plants common in the redwood forest. Hidden animals abound: quail, mice, herons, bugs, raven, fish, and I'm not sure what else crept into the picture.

The original painting was done using an airbrush and other tools on watercolor canvas, and you can easily see that texture in this fine art print.

The print is on Somerset Velvet paper, a nice heavy textured paper much like the watercolor paper of the original. The printed area is 5 x 7 with an unprinted border, as you can see in one of the photos.

This print is matted, with a backing board, with outside dimensions of 8 x 10 inches so it will be easy for you to find a frame to slip it into.

In the clear protective envelope I've also included an amusing Artist Statement, which you may be able to read in one photo.

I am very fond of the plants carpeting the redwood forest floor where I run and hike. One day I took some photos of the redwood sorrel and bedstraw, and decided to do a painting of them. All these animals started appearing in the painting, I'm sure you will enjoy searching for them all.
