The front of this folded card shows a person scattering seed for the wild Canada geese with their goslings. Also in the painting are her pet turtle and two cats. Beyond is the river, and dunes pink in the sunrise.

I used an airbrush to paint the original; this is an inkjet print about 4 x 6 inches (10 x 15 centimeters). The card itself is slightly larger. The inside is blank, ready for your own greeting or note, and an envelope is also included.

The painting was inspired by my friend and the animals which surround her.

Since I have used an airbrush for many years to paint my animal wood carvings, when I started painting that was naturally the tool I used. I gives the colors a softness which I enjoy. I spray through stencils which I have cut, to give harder edges
