The focal piece of this lovely necklace is a Maori unfurling palm leaf, meaning new life and new beginnings. I added fair trade silvery spiral beads from Ethiopia to each side on simple deep brown leather with a small toggle clasp.

The necklace is approximately 18" the pewter pendant is made in the USA.

A portion of all sales goes to help the Wounded Warrior Project.

From the Science Boy line, it's a modern primitive necklace. I love the image of the spiral and the texture or the metal beads against the smooth leather.

The Science Boy line is named for a friend of mine. The designs tend to be modern primitive and either androgynous or masculine in nature.
