Made of sterling silver in a Byzantine chain maille weave, its focal point is a circle of real Roman glass, excavated from the ruins of 2,000-year-old settlements in what is now Israel. Photographs don't do justice to the way it catches the light; the centuries have given it a multi-colored iridescence that looks almost like opal. Definitely a wrist-watcher.
