Iridescent pale blue-gray moonstone flashes its mysterious glow in this substantial necklace. A single large (about 1 1/8 inches wide by 3/4 inches high) moonstone cabochon set in sterling silver, surrounded by six smaller moonstone cabochons (three on each side), hang gracefully from a Byzantine chain. The overall length of the necklace is about eighteen inches. The chain is made of Argentium sterling silver, making it highly tarnish-resistant. A uniquely feminine stone, moonstone is said to promote love and protection, especially to travelers.
