A piece of ancient history to grace a lovely neck. A glittering half-moon of ancient Roman Glass, framed in sterling silver with a Half Persian chain, and an unusual, easy to use, open clasp. The glass in this necklace comes from Israel. For two thousand years, the glass has been slumbering in the earth, bringing forth a lustrous patina, reminiscent of shimmering opals, very difficult to capture in photos. Argentium sterling silver forms the links of the Half Persian chain. This silver is tarnish resistant, and should only need polishing once or twice a year. About eighteen inches long, please let me know if you need a different length. I am happy to customize.
