This blank book is covered in cream paper inspired by traditional Florentine designs of the Renaissance. Swirls, flowers and circles in candy toned hues of blue, green, pink, orange and yellow are outlined in black with metallic gold accents describing a subtle pattern in the background. The metallic accents do not photograph well, but when you tilt the cover slightly in strong light, the background pattern glitters. Light green French marbled paper containing a vein of metallic gold is used for the inside of the covers, and each book contains 110 pages (220 if counting front and back) of hand torn 80 lb recycled drawing paper. Each page has a delicate swirl design at the top of the page and a flourish at the bottom letterpressed in green ink. This blank book is hand bound using the exposed tape stitch method with natural 4 ply blue linen thread and natural linen tapes. In this method, the tapes reach around the covers and disappear inside of them. Perfect for a journal or sketchbook, and easily portable at 4.75" x 6.25" x 1.5".
