This unique bar clock is made from a cobalt blue wine bottle decorated with fun and funky fused glass cocktails and a copper wire curlicue.

To make the clock, we cut off the bottom of a 750ml wine bottle and heated it to 1450° in our glass fusing kiln, which caused the bottle to flatten out. We then drilled a hole through the middle of the bottle for the clockworks and adhered the fused glass cocktail decorations at 12, 3, 6 and 9.

The quartz clock movement has a built-in hanger and runs on a single AA battery (included with purchase).

This item was handmade in our home studio near Dallas, Texas. We use only high-quality glass, which we cut and shape by hand, fuse together at temperatures in excess of 1400°, and thoroughly anneal (or cool) in the kiln for 6 to 8 hours to prevent cracking.

Please be aware that small bubbles sometimes form in our pieces during the firing stage. This is not uncommon with fused glass and usually adds interest to the finished product.
