Measures approximately 8 inches square by 1-1/2 inches deep at its center and has been capped with clear glass to ensure food safety. Hand washing is recommended.

We used three different types of art glass to create this one of a kind, square bowl - sheet glass, glass stringers and crushed glass, which is known as "glass frit" in the warm glass / glass fusing world. The bubbles in this piece were created naturally in the kiln as a top layer of clear glass slowly melted and fused to the layer below, trapping air inside of the glass.

This piece was handmade in our home-based glass studio near Dallas, Texas. We use only high quality, US-made art glass, which we cut and shape by hand, fuse together at temperatures in excess of 1500° F, and thoroughly anneal (or cool) in the kiln for 6 to 8 hours to prevent cracking.
