This decorative, square art glass bowl features a geometric design in shades of blue with a dark red accent. The blues in this piece range from light blue to deep aqua to cobalt and are edged with a frame of swirly-patterned glass in a subtle light blue and white combination.

Great as an accent piece for a table or shelf or when used to display smaller decorative items. It can also be used as a candy bowl or candle holder - it's a one of a kind piece of handmade art that's both functional and versatile.

Measures approximately 8" square by 1-1/2" deep at its center and is 1/4" thick. Capped with clear glass for food safety. Hand washing is recommended.

We made this bowl in our home-based glass studio near Dallas, Texas. We use only high quality art and dichroic glass, which we cut and shape by hand, fuse in a kiln at temperatures up to 1500° F, and thoroughly anneal (or cool) in the kiln for 6 to 8 hours to prevent cracking.

Please be aware that small bubbles sometimes form in our pieces during the firing stage. This is not uncommon with fused glass and usually adds interest to the finished piece.
