This beautiful plate is designed by Bjorn Wiinbad, Rosenthal Studios. This plate is number 3 in a series, and is 6 1/2" and is in excellent vintage condition.

This plate illustrates Sinbad's escape in his second adventurous voyage, from the epic "One Thousand and One Nights". It depicts the scene where he meets the gigantic bird Roch who helps him escape from a barren island. This plate is # 3 in a series of 8 wall plates. It's beautiful gold ornamentation and its rich colors reflect the playful splendor of the Oriental world of make-believe.
