Dog Collar Slipcovers are worn over your pet's existing collar so that you can change the look without changing collars. To wear the slipcover, thread your collar through the channel at the top. On the end near the buckle is a buttonhole opening for the leash loop/D-ring to slide through so that the entire collar is covered (3rd photo). This also helps to prevent the slipcover from sliding around on the collar.

- Made of pre-washed, 100% cotton fabric - machine wash and tumble dry

- Triangle-shaped and fully reversible, all seams are neatly finished with no raw edges showing.

Sizing is based on the length of your pet's collar in one inch increments and the amount of gathering desired. Because one size does *not* fit all, the 'triangle' section of each bandana is adjusted proportionally to match your dog's neck length and body type.

The photos for this listing show my Westie, Keli wearing a Large - 17 inch long slipcover with a 7 inch drop (from the top edge to the point of the bandana) over a 16 inch long x 3/4 inch wide collar, which allows for a minimal amount of gathering. A shorter collar will create more gathers.

One Large slipcover is ready to ship immediately. If you would like another size, simply measure your pet's collar to the nearest inch and enter the measurement in the Notes to Seller during check-out.

Custom sized collar slipcovers are made to order and usually are ready to ship within 2-4 days.
