Collar Slipcovers are worn over your dog's existing collar so that you can change the look without changing collars. To wear the slipcover, thread your dog's collar through the channel at the top. On the end near the buckle is a buttonhole opening for the leash loop/D-ring to slide through so that the entire collar is covered. This also helps to prevent the slipcover from sliding around on the collar.

- Made of pre-washed 100% cotton quilt weight fabrics and are machine washable.

- Triangle-shaped and fully reversible, all seams are neatly finished with no raw edges showing.

SIZE:

Sizing is based on two measurements:

* the drop height (measured vertically from the top edge down to the point of the bandana)

* the length of your dog's collar in one inch increments. 2 to 3 inches longer than your dog's collar creates a moderate amount of gathering and ease in wearing. ** On custom orders, this can be adjusted to fit your pet's collar size **

Several sizes can be made to order:

XSmall - 4.5 inch drop x 12 inches long
Small - 5 inch drop x 14 inches long
Med/Small - 5.5 inch drop x 15 inches long
Medium - 6 inch drop x 16 inches long
Large - 7 inch drop x 17 inches long

** larger and custom sizes to fit your pet can also be made to order **

The photos for this listing show two sizes:

Medium - approximately 16 inches long with a 6 inch drop (from the top edge to the point of the bandana) - worn by my Wauzer, Penny over a 14 inches long x 3/4 inch wide collar;

Large - approximately 18 inches long with a 7 inch drop (from the top edge to the point of the bandana) - worn by my Westie, Keli over a 16 inches long x 3/4 inch wide collar,

In the Notes to Seller during check-out, indicate one of the sizes listed above or measure your pet's collar length to the nearest inch and enter the measurement for a custom sized bandana.

*Please be sure to let me know if your pet's collar is 1 inch or wider.

Custom sized collar slipcovers are made to order, and are usually ready to ship within 2-4 days.
