This pretty padded eyeglass case is made from a nice and thick quilted potholder with a gorgeous autumn harvest design print fabric featuring a big pumpkin, pears, apples, and grapes. This is so useful because it can hold a pair of regular to small eyeglasses, sunglasses, pens, or other small items you do not want loose in your purse, backpack or briefcase.

The fabric is 100% cotton and the case is machine wash/dry. The fruit and vegetables are done in all kinds of autumn and fall colors with different shades of orange, rust, burgundy, gold, and green.

It measures 3 inches wide and 6-1/2 inches long. The quilting is done on the inside of the potholder which is the solid rust-colored fabric, and that is the same fabric used for the trim.

This type of item is not only useful but also cute and unique. It makes a great and inexpensive gift for yourself or as a secret pal gift, teacher gift, neighbor gift, get well gift, thank you gift, or just for fun gift for anyone.

I found this idea in a sewing magazine many years ago as an idea for a great bazaar seller. It's not expensive but it's useful. And there are too many pretty potholders with great designs that are not useful as potholders (one can only buy or use so many) but which can be repurposed for something else!
