This lovely wild deer photo makes a great special greeting card.

The photo measures 4x6 and has a wide studio black border setting off the picture. The photo can be removed from the embossed card that measures 5x7. The card itself is blank on the inside so that you can write any message that you wish, and it is also easily framed in any standard 5x7 frame. Envelope is included.

A little photo artwork from Arizona!! I am not a professional photographer...I just like to take pictures...and once in a while they turn out well enough to share. The detail of the photo is hard to capture in another photo...and so it really is much better and clearer in person.

This was a wow moment...when a wild deer came and ate a carrot from my hand! There were many wild deer who came through my yard in this great little country RV park in Ramsey Canyon, just southeast of Sierra Vista, Arizona, when I lived there several years ago.

But this little guy (or gal) was the only one who was brave enough to come and get the carrot I offered. I was shaking so much that I was shocked a photo turned out well enough to print!

The best part was this shy and cautious creature with huge brown eyes and wet leathery nose came back several times that year and ate one carrot from my hand this same way each time. I missed its group when they did not show up again after a few regular visits.

So I am especially happy I got one photo out of the many that I took which shows the time when a wild critter like this trusted me enough to take a carrot I offered in peace and friendship. Awesome!!
