DICHROIC PENDANT: LIZARD ON JEWELTONES

For the reptile lover: This little lizard/gecko is scampering across purple and turquoise or teal reminiscent of the colors of the sea around a Caribbean island.

I hand etched this pendant using a stencil that I made myself. Then I fired it in my kiln at almost 1500 degrees Farenheit. The metallic looking dichroic layer is part of the glass itself and is not something that wears off. The bail is hand-made out of sterling silver wire and fused in between the layers of glass. The glass is 1/4" thick and is actually very sturdy. Each pendant is individually handmade by me and properly annealed for durability. Each piece is unique and they will often have small imperfections or bubbles in the glass.
