Very tiny (1 cm in diameter) oxidized dark sterling silver hand formed, self locking and hammered artisan hoop earrings (Price is for pair)

** Artisan silver hoops are made of sterling silver 20 ga wire

** These self locking silver hoop earrings are TINY, about 1 cm in diameter. (From side to side - Note the shot showing this pair inside the 1/2 inch diameter pair. These are VERY tiny hoops)

** Each silver hoop earring pair is filed for smoothness and then tumbled for wearability.

Sterling silver wire for these hoop earrings are measured and cut by hand. I use a mandrel to form the circular shape. Then I hammer and slightly texture them just to make things a bit more interesting. After the earrings have been formed, I oxidize the silver and then place them in a tumbler for a few hours to make them stronger and form a really shiny burnish on the metal. After a quick bath, I buff the darkened silver to a nice patina before I send them on to you.

Originally, this size hoop was a special request. It's the perfect size to not be obtrusive, but still keep an earring in your piercing.

*NOTE: these hoops are made from 20 ga wire...as with any smaller gauge more delicate wire, they will bend, so treat them accordingly. You probably shouldn't sleep or wrestle in them. :-)
