** Handmade silver necklace's sterling silver chain is 18 in (about 48 cm) in length

** The sterling silver .925 wire wrapped gemstone pendant adds another 1 inch (2.5 cm) to the necklace length.

** The sterling silver surfaces have been oxidized (made darker). If you would prefer the silver to remain in its natural bright shiny state, please let me know if the notes when you check out.

This handmade necklace is made from a gorgeous light sage green prasiolite (green amethyst) faceted briolette about 10 mm wide and 20 mm tall. Each briolette has been wrapped in many inches of genuine sterling silver wire. I attach the wire wrapped pendant to a sterling silver chain using sterling silver jump rings. I oxidized (also known as darkened or antiqued) the sterling silver .925 wire and chain. The necklace connects with a silver lobster claw clasp.

The lovely pale green color of the prasiolite gemstone reminds me of my neighborhood willow trees.
